In this research, there were several problematic phenomena that occurred during previous observations in class XI. where there are still many students who do not understand good translation techniques, which often results in errors in the translation results. This creates confusion among students about good translation, for example; Students don't know how to use grammar properly; student translate the sentence by word for word so, the meaning of the sentence is not conveyed properly. and students lack mastery of English vocabulary. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method because it is based on phenomena that occur. The data source used in this research uses explanatory text taken from the Detikcom website. The procedural technique used is qualitative data analysis. There were 20 students who took part in carrying out the translation of this text. The findings obtained were none of the students that get the Highly accurate and there are only 6 (30%) students that get that accurate level, and 12 (60%) students for the less accurate and there are 2 (10%) students that gets the Inaccurate level. Research suggests that smaller classes can improve academic performance, including reading comprehension, by increasing student participation and individual progress. This study investigates the relationship between class size and students' achievement in English reading comprehension among Year 4 students. A quasi-experimental research design was employed, involving a mixed-methods approach incorporating quantitative and qualitative data collection methods. The results suggested that smaller class sizes have a positive impact on student's achievement in English reading comprehension compared to larger class sizes. The results of the study align with previous research, suggesting that smaller class sizes lead to better student performance. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were taken from an English short story titled “The Mysterious Disappearance” and a Batak short story titled “Mandiori Pulungan”, both accessed from the internet. The findings indicate that there are significant differences in the use of prefixes between English and Batak Toba, both in form and meaning. Each language has a unique prefix system that affects word meaning differently. Its inclusion into the KSSR curriculum of Malaysian English classroom has brought about various positive remarks towards learning competency. However, there is an unexplored issue that worth noting focusing on cursive writing application towards improving spelling accuracy. There is limited research on this issue, thus it is worth to be researched. Hence this study aims to analyze the association between gender with application and motivation to use cursive writing for spelling accuracy. It also investigates the significant differences between males and females when focusing on application and motivation to use cursive writing for spelling accuracy. The instrument used is a questionnaire with 9 items. The items are divided into two dimensions, namely application and motivation. A total of 80 students participate din this study. SPSS Software was used to analyse the data given. The results show that there is no statistically significant association between gender , the application and motivation of using cursive writing. The study also found out that the female participants generally have higher application scores compared to male participants. Female participants also tend to have higher motivation scores compared to those male participants. There has been a positive feedback between the idea of cursive writing application towards improving spelling performance. In comparing these two studies, two previous studies will be compared, namely research from Murni Mahmud, et al. 2022. Language Production Of Children Aged 6 Years Old: A Psycholinguistics Study and Maria Klara, et al. Language Production among Multilingual Children: Insights on Code Mixing.
